This Etching Artwork print is created by an intaglio technique of printmaking in which the image is incised into a surface and the incised line or sunken area holds the ink. It is the direct opposite of a relief print, where the parts of the matrix that make the image stand above the main surface.

The concept of this artwork brings attention to how our emotions play a critical role in the evolution of conscious and unconscious thoughts that happens in the background of our mind, which also include repressed feelings, untouched skills, uncontrolled reactions, hidden phobias, and desires.

The unconscious mind also contains feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that are outside of our conscious awareness, and that are mostly unacceptable and unpleasant, such as pain, anxiety, or conflict.
